Yes, some will say that this mod acts like a malware for doing something like that, however this is a really clever way to prevent pirates (and reward those who paid for this title). This mod is a necessity for a comfortable game, but now its author has changed it so that he discovers whether its licensed whether NieR: Automata or not.
